Biotite mica powder

Biotite powder is a kind of mica which contain more ferrous. Therefore the colour is natural pearlescent black (also have dark brown, reddish brown). Black mica can also strip off into chips, specific gravity of 2.7-3.3, greater than muscovite mica and phlogopite. But it worse in insulation property. In addition it can be corroded and decoloured by strong acid.  

 

Application:

Widely used in decoration materials, rubber products, Brunet coating, release agent and so on.
